Aww... don't worry, you'll get to see them in a few hours.
Update er'body:
I got my new header and downpipe on. I also installed my wink mirror.
I was in a rush to get ready for the Southeast Meet that I didn't take any pictures yet.
Update!
- I wire tucked my HID's.
- I repainted my fogs yellow
- I re-smoked my fogs and corner lights, then I smoked my headlights.
- I'm getting my DX tranny in tomorrow. The HF tranny is a POS.
Been really busy, so I haven't worked much on my wagon. I switched from 1st to 3rd shift, and I've been helping my brother throw his LS VTEC back into his GSR Integra DC Sedan.
First off, the swagoberry is for sale. While she's for sale, I'll still be spending money on her to get her running/looking like I want her to.
The price, $1400. < That is what I'm asking, and is also what I payed for her stock, with no work done to her.
If you want her, or more information, pm me.
So, a lot has happened with my car recently. My distributor went bad. And boy was that fun. It went out on my way back from Charleston visting my fiancee's family. I was able to get a new distributor (the one for the D16A6) and had it re-pinned to fit my harness. Everything with the distributor is working great now. However, now I'm having issues with what seems to possibly be my main relay... Sigh..
Also, I'm not sure about everywhere else, but we've had ridiculous amounts of rain here is South Carolina. So much so that my fog lights have died. So, now they're just for show (if you can call it that) until I can retro-fit some new ones into my bumper. Which brings me to something I'm quite happy about (for once).
Ram Air. Yep, I have one. Finally. While I was down in Charleston, my future father-in-law helped me build one. We used a few supplies from a home depot, and I have to say, it's quite nice. I've included some pictures (of course) to show you all. And about the improvements in power, it's noticeable. When I accelerate, the faster I go, the harder it pulls. So for instance, I feel a larger power gain when when I accelerate while cruising down the interstate, even without downshifting. It's nice. It feels so much more responsive. And, with the addition of my ram air, I actually walked a 2003 civic coupe from a dead stop. Man that punk kid was pissed. He tried to race me the next day and got the exact same result.
So the ram air is great. Eventually I'd like to make another larger scoop. Also, you can't see it, but I went back and re-drilled some of the holes to make them a tad larger. I also used the dremel to smooth out all funnel and such. And if you're wondering, when you place your hand near the scoop, and adjust the throttle, it will pull your hand to the scoop, and then pull the bumper in too. It has great suction. I've also noticed the responsiveness of my car increase as well, but all of this could be accredited to the fact that I have a new K&N filter paired with the ram air.
I reckon that's it for now. I'm going to see about doing an OBD0 to OBD1 conversion, and hopefully converting my car to an electronic VSS.
