Lookin' good! Rack & pods turned out nice. If you slide your front rack foward and let your fairing rest on the windshield, it won't scratch up your paint. Like the muffler, a interresting touch! Keep up the good work!
Big thumbs up here too! Loving the wagon upgraded! Dang clean up that McFlurry son!
Thanks man! Yeah, the rear speaker pods are NICE!!! So much better sound of music! And yeah, trust me, when I found out (by the time when I got home) I cleaned up that mess. My fiancee and I carpet cleaned my wagon. While we were at it we detailed the car, and vacuumed it all. The pics of my interior were shot afterwards.

Thanks man! Yeah, I installed this in the dark. It was stupid difficult for me to get it to sit right... Gosh. When I get around to it, I'd like to slide it forward... Yeah, the muffler turned out okay. I would have liked to put more time into it and made it look better...
Here's a recent update after my D16Y7 swap. I'll post pictures on that later.
It snowed about 3 inches in SC, so this is a day or two after I got my swap all worked out.
Im loving what you're doing with this Wagon. Everything looks great!
Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm trying to do things differently and add my own style. Unfortunately, there's only so much you can do to be different.
I'm glad you think it looks great too, hopefully, you'll get to see it in person at the meet! I'm hoping to have some big stuff done by then.

Likewise, hopefully my Wagon will be up to par mechanically at least by then. I have a two page Word document for a to-do list. haha

rofl.. I've got a pretty long google doc myself.
UPDATE: My brother and I swapped out my pedal assembly because mine was cracked into pieces (where the clutch pedal connects to the rest of the assembly). Despite popular belief, we pulled out a hatch pedal assembly, and got it to work in the wagon.
So anyways, I've finally come to what I think will be a semi cheap, pretty small, but decent motor build.
Here's a little recap on what's happened with the wagon to bring y'all up to date on my motor situation.
Bought the car with a d15b2 converted to MPFI with a blown head gasket.
Swapped the d15b2 for the d15b6 (HF motor) and the HF IM and kept my DX tranny .
The HF blew a head gasket over the summer (I was driving 4 people (800lb) extra around the mountains of GA).
Replaced the head gasket. Later my clutch started slipping (turns out it was a bad clutch and a broken pedal assembly), and in order to get back and forth to work, I had to push my motor harder then it should to accelerate (It's already hard to accelerate with an HF). I noticed pre-stages of a blown head gasket.
I finally swapped the HF out for my brother's d16y7. I threw the HF IM on again (because it's the only one I had) and threw in an HF tranny (b/c my dx tranny was shot).
So this brings me to a dilema. The HF tranny is great, except the HF IM prevents me from accelerating quickly and maintaining high speeds. So, I'm going to be doing some work to my y7, to increase the power and airflow, thus hopefully creating good combination between power and gas mileage.
I've done some research (hopefully from correct information), and I think I'm going to stay obd0. I'm going to be running the si ecu.
I also think I'm going to throw an a6 cam into the y7 for a better power gain. Then, I'm going to swap out the HF corn dog mani for a d16z6 im. From what I can tell, the obd0 d16a6 is similar to the obd0 d15b7, but the casting and flow is better in the b7. Then the d15b7 is like the d16bz6, but the z6 has better casting and larger im ports, and I think shorter runners?. So, corndog(hf) < a6 < b7 < z6. Also, the inside of the TB on the a6 is 55, the z6/b7 is 56mm. The a6/b7 though have 40mm intake ports, while the the z6 has 42mm. So in other words, the z6 is better than the a6. And from what I've researched, the z6 is a direct swap, and is easy, unlike what I've read about the y8 im.
Hopefully, this combination will allow me to have a better, stronger motor to help me pull through those ridiculously long gears. If you've got any comments or suggestions for me, let me know. I've just decided to make a new version of the d16a6. Same cam, better IM, and more efficient, newer engine.
In other news, I installed a 2nd cup holder. Also, my rear speakers aren't working anymore. I think the rear channel in my stereo deck broke. I don't think its the wiring. I did all of it myself. This isn't a crap job either. I'm talking about cutting, twisting, soldering, heat-wrapping, the whole deal. Even putting it in oem loom and everything. If y'all might have an idea of what it could be, fill me in please.
Also, I drove from Rock Hill to Charleston (2.5 hr drive) and back and the wagon held up. No over heating, no check engine codes, no stuttering, nothing. Also, I'm really excited about the South Carolina Wagon meet I'm preparing for. The wagon's got a lot of work to do.
I reckon that's all for the update.
thats awsome wagon. love it. im rocking the y7 set up to. im sticking with it tho. as for the coil over sleeves, i have one but mines feels alright. lol. you probably got a wrong spring rate. but its a cheap ebay stuff so oh well. lol.

Yeah, the y7 is decent, but with my HF tranny and intake manifold, it is almost unbearable. Hopefully I'm going to pick up some power once I do my Z6 intake manifold to a K&N filter and a RAM AIR of doom. I guess we'll see.
And for the springs, I got civic ones. I got a different kind last time for my hatch, and the ride was crappy then too. I guess that's what I get for buying cheap eBay, and staying with stock shocks.
A little update. I got some bottle caps from my brother. He bought a bmw with 2 practically mint sets.
With these on, my car scrapes mud flaps so much more.
Then I got a custom hood bra thanks to jpoopoo
I also got my crv rear bumper lights on. Still gotta get em wired. May do that this week.
Getting my new suspension on that I got from simplyhonda. I'm also finally getting my z6 IM on. I just got the last piece over last weekend.
Let me know what yall think of my wagon now!
Those bottlecaps look amazing on your Wagon. I just got a set and they're all different colors though...
Hope to see you at the meet this coming weekend!
Thanks man. I hope to see you too. I'm bringing the fiancee.
I just bought a wink mirror so I'm hoping that it'll get in in time. Also, I'm trying to get my windshield replaced too.
I'm really trying to make sure my wagon is sexy.
I like the bottle caps, they do look nice. I'm thinking of painting them gold though.. hm...
Update: I got my z6 intake manifold on. Man, it is SO Much more responsive. It grunts so much more. It is so much faster.
And for the record, my HF throttle body butterfly, was the exact size of a corn dog.
I've still got some problems to get knocked out before my car is running right. First, I am throwing code 7 (TPS). I put my HF one on, but it isn't working still. Maybe I put it on wrong? So, my cars idle and stuff is all messed up. It feels like the throttle keeps sticking.
Also, I gotta get a new air box. I'm running the HF box (corn dog sized tubing) to my new IM. Not good if you ask me.
Any who...
The wink mirror should be sweet. Are you going to sticker bomb it?
I have been working nonstop to make sure the Wagon is up to par for this meet too!
I would try to keep the lip a different color whatever you paint them.
Yeah, I'm really excited about getting that mirror. I'm going to sticker bomb it, but not right yet.
I also bought a new header and down pipe. I've got a pretty bad exhaust leak upfront and it's driving me nuts.

Comments
Well in other news, I crappily painted my muffler and got it welded back on. Gosh I love how quiet my car is now.
I'll post pics some day.
I didn't take it off, the pavement in the mountains of Georgia took it off...
Here's a photo update folks. Just random stuff. Cleaned the inside of my car, with the help of my fiancee.
Installed my pods and roof rack.
My rear power outlet
(this seat is wet because we just got done carpet foaming it)
Look what my sister did in my car….
Pikachu rocking the Yoda
My cup holder.
So far, it is the best one I've seen yet (IMHO). It holds everything from small water bottles to even McDonald's large sweet teas.
Thanks man! Yeah, I installed this in the dark. It was stupid difficult for me to get it to sit right... Gosh. When I get around to it, I'd like to slide it forward... Yeah, the muffler turned out okay. I would have liked to put more time into it and made it look better...

Sigh... so much to fix on my car before the meet, and so little time... I am so pumped!

pro tip: the center caps from old CRV steelies will fit your bmw wheels.
Thanks for the compliment!
and by "old CRV", you mean the 1st gen ones? The ones that are 5 lug? What about their rims? Will those center caps work?
