Seat Pan Swap
Upon trying to fix my janky seats. I learned that they are (probably) 90s Civic seats shoddily mounted into my 89 Civic. The seat pan is the kind that has the side mounts, not the original bottom mounts. I have an extra set of original seat sliders, but because my seats' pan are side mount, my brackets are no use. Does anyone have advice, or know where I could look for the right kind of pan?
Apparently if I can get a new pan, I could probably keep my old seats, but just swap pans, which is ideal for me. Should I just look for any old seat pan from my era of Civic at a junkyard? I'd prefer to not have to pay an arm and a leg for new non-Honda looking seats.
