10.3" Type-R brakes on DX knuckles - no more grinding pads

Okay I have no pictures, so read this carefully.
In my write up on DX knuckles and Type-R calipers, the setup requires milled brackets. It also requires modification of the brake pad because it is larger than the rotor is used to taking. The pads get grinded at the bottom of the backing plate, not into the material.
However, there is a mod to do to use stock pads.
Go to the dealer and buy 4 retainer clip springs from a 2005 Honda Accord EX 4 cylinder. These are similar to type-R calipers. The retainer clips are similar too, but are springs on the bottom. What this means is the pad is pushed into place with the retaining clips for the BRACKET, and will no longer need an overhead pad spring in the CALIPER. Remove the stock clips that go into the 23T bracket (the things the pad slide on) and put these in.
From now on, you will use Acura TSX front brake pads. These are similar to the type-R pad, but about 1.5mm shorter, and because of the shape, do NOT rub against the rotor's hat.
The bias change is a little bit more to the front, but its not a whole lot, especially with any type of performance tire. You now can use STOCK pads that need not be grinded each time! Remember to remove the pad spring from the caliper!
