  • Wow man, that thing looks crazy!

How does everyone always have parts and stuff already set for their Wago's the second they get them? I've had mine for about 3 weeks and it's still covered in all of the previous owner's damn stuff on the inside.

Looks great! I'm loving the progress already!

How did you get the glue from the decal off the paint?

  • I'm so glad that she went to a good home. She's cleaned up well considering that you haven't had the car more than 36 hours!

I used a heat gun on the one that was on my car. Don't scorch it but it should just peel right off even without the heat gun. Lovin the progress on the wagon, keep with the updates.

she threw the corner light and bumper light in with the car when i got it off her, and ive been kinda lucking into money the past few days, so thats how im getting wheels and other stuff for it. also i work at advance auto parts and on sundays we are really slow, so inbetween waiting on the few customers i had 8 hours of getting paid to sit there and mess with my car lol, also from working there i get good discounts on the stuff i need.

and to get the glue off i used the razorblade knife looking thing in the picture of the big red sticker removed. just be careful and go easy with it dont just dig into it. you can pick the razor thing up at advance auto for like 2 bucks.

thanks for the props guys and thank you Ami for the hook up on the car

I'd say without the center caps. Gotta try them on the wagon to see how they look on the wagon.

i was totally thinking to myself "wait, isn't that Ami's car? I think that's her pedo sticker lol" Josh told me you were selling it, but didn't you know actually did.

Like you said, glad she went to a good home too!

Thanks guys, I'm glad to have the car, getting windows tinted soon, so I'll update again with more pics hopefully from a camera instead of my phone. Also still waiting on the hatch struts to come in and going to get the front lip put on

Which model hatch struts did you manage to find that fit properly, if you don't mind my asking? I've been on the hunt for the last few weeks to find new gas struts so I can restore the automatic opening effect to my tailgate and prevent head bonks.

Also, do you happen to know if the ones you bought are also compatible with the plastic trim pieces that pop off of the old ones?

forgot to even check the order shelf, my lift supports came in, so ill have those on in a day or so, maybe tonight if we stay slow like we are..

I'm tempted, but I want to get something with a warranty I can return locally should they stop working.

We bought generic hatch struts for my mom's Expedition years ago and they never worked properly after a few months.
  • Hells yeah! this is fresh.

Sick man. I had 16'' slipstreams way back in the day in 2003. I loved them!

What coilovers did you go with?
  • BrianfreelsBrianfreels New Wagonist
havnt ordered any yet, but im looking at godspeeds
  • Make sure to put a relay on that push button start wiring.
  • BrianfreelsBrianfreels New Wagonist
im gunna put a new starter switch in it so itll have one again, and the neutral safety switch isnt hooked up so ill prolly hook that back up too
  • I've never understood the crazy fad over push button starters, what's so hard about turning a key?
