Did you mean a Honda 929 bike?

    I think I meant 954

Those pictures are from the trails in stafford. Once I get mud tires, and the wagon running I might venture out to cardinal.

The wagons and weather is a bit wet for me to work on it. I'll wait for it to dry up, hopefully I can get some things ordered in the next few days, I want to get a full size aluminum radiator for it before I get it running. I noticed my obd1 wire jumper is pretty hacked up, I'll have to start looking into that soon too.
  • Didn't do much today. Ended up starting some work on the front bumper.

  • you did that or is that a photo shop of what your gona do ?

If you can bare to let one of your other vehicles to sit out side we should put your wagon in your garage for the winter.
i think if we really work on it we could get it done by the time it gets warm Just working couple hours on the weekends.
I got some decent looking vw five spoke wheels i was gona see if you wanted to try them on your wagon they just need tires
  • I just cut/mounted them to the bumper in the garage yesterday. I put the bumper on the car real quick after thinking they weren't going to fit right, rubbing the chassis. Actually, the chassis just touches, and holds them nice and steady. No wiring, or anything. Prob should have done something more worthwhile, towards getting it running, but I've been meaning to work on the bumper for such a long time now.

I have 2 or 3 of the motor mounts filled with polyurethane, I'd like to get the remaining ones filled, cleaned and painted, along with some of the other brackets. Then we can put the engine in...then wiring, which shouldn't be too bad, might call for a push into the garage for that process :)

I had it in the garage for 2 winters here, finally got it out last year, because it's so much nicer to have your DD garaged, huge difference! Just want to have the wagon running, so it doesn't get stuck in the garage...again.

Also thinking, I should work on getting the del sol paint repaired, so I'm not driving around with patch spots all over it. I found a guy parting one in Manassas, haven't called him yet. Hoping I can go over and cut off some sheet metal :D
  • Met up with da wedge today. Ended up getting an obd1 ecu connector from the junk yard. Going to scrap my obd0->obd1 jumper and use this harness. The jumper is in piss-poor shape and it'll be easier to match wire to wire, rather than try to figure this thing out. We ended up getting all my engine mounts filled, even a leftover one from the del sol I've been meaning to fill for some time now.

Sitting here bored I found and old thread, that linked to an old site...
I bought this car december 24th 2002, it was delivered december 31st 2002.

Damn, 7 years...where did it all go?

New goal, have this thing running with ITBs and repainted by Dec 31st 2009.
  • oo no you set a date that meens you gotta get it done ,
Theres no more puttin it off !
Throw some wheels on it and ill bring a motor hoiste by and we can push it in and out of the garage when we work on it .

come on man virgina is at a shortage of wagons lol

    do it for virgina !
  • Just got something done that I've been meaning to do, put it off for unknown reason. It was really simple. The z6 doesn't have the half shaft holes tapped, so I drilled and taped them. Actually 1 of the holes was tapped. Use a 11/32 bit and drill the holes about 1.25" deep, then use your M10x1.25 tap and finish up. The aluminum was really easy to drill and tap, took about 30 minutes to find all my tools, get it done and clean up.
  • oh, what a surprise...
    no pictures...

Great work on that flushed Fog light.
  • Thanks, the fogs turned out good...so far. We'll see what happens when they're functional, hoping the bumper is at the right angle so they don't require any tweaks to get the beam just right.

And out of 10 pictures, this is about the only one that turned out.

Got the mounts filled and painted this weekend. Looking at cutting up the top hats for the struts tonight.

Been messing around with my bumper, getting the kinks out of it and going to start refinishing it soon. I put some of the brake lines back in under the hood and if you notice, I messed up painting the booster, the master cylinder wont cover that tape job, lol. I'll be getting some flat black and smoke gray spray paint to do some touch up once everything is back together.
  • DarrenDarren Wagonist
Still a nice job... fixing that tape mark shouldn't be too hard... :D

nobody ever looks at the booster anyway lol
  • Flat black will be easy to hide any cover ups too. I mainly painted these to see how Rustoleum rusty metal primer works. All those parts had some surface rust on them that I scuffed (didn't remove much) and painted. We'll see how it turns out.

Cut two top hats tonight, need to jack the rear, and remove the suspension and cut them, then hook up with da wedge and his welding skillZ. My 6 year old agx's seemed a little weak, but it was cold/rainy, so hopfully they freshen up after I get it moving down the road.

OH...I've been heating my bumper and pushing it around trying to get this kink out of it. Neighbor had some bad ass clamps he let me borrow and I used some 2x4s on either side of the bumper + heat. I heated it up real nice and them clamped the shit out of it last night. Turned out really good. Might do it one more time to see if I can get it any more flat.

  • ^ good bandaid! :D
  • Not much happening lately. Finally broke down and got the junk yard hood, lines are good, 2 dings I'll need to fix. Bumper is being a bitch, it popped back into it's deformed shape. I'll need to apply some serious warp-age to get it straight.

I touched up the front end light wiring tonight, bolted the headlights in! Still need to wire the fog lights...ecu, fuse box, engine, fab top hats, other suspension bits, put engine in, put front end back together, bleed brakes and paint! oh yea, find some wheels?

Snapped a picture of the other honda a couple days ago. Still trying to figure out why this camera sucks....my old ass nikon seemed to take way better pics.

  • After the cruise yesterday with chris, I wanted to give the wagon some attention today. After running some errands, got home and it was dark... Ate some dinner and sat around for a bit, then the wife and I got an itch and bam, just like that the engine was in.

No pics, it's too dark. Maybe some tomorrow.
  • Just trying to build a simple daily driver.

    I LOL'd!

I love the ITB set up, looks scary!!
Do you still have the FD?
I'm got a pretty scary FC, see link in sig.
  • The wife helped with the engine install? Awesome!

  • Yes sirs, she was flash lite duty and she threaded the bolts through the mounts as I helped line up everything.

Kinda wanted to get it into the garage last night so I could wire it up today, but never got it pushed in and it's been raining all day.

    Maybe this weekend...
  • there is no maybe , i heard your wife say shes tired of looking at it in your drive way lol

im not really sure if she said that but it sounded good lol

we at least have to get the suspension / top hats on and everything so you can move it around
  • no clearance for the top hats, welds need buzzsawed!!!`1```11

No serious progress on the wagon lately. hoody was showing me how to weld tonight, he ended up finishing off two top hats...

I've been spending my time messing with the del sol and a suspension "project".

    577.jpg
  • This thing is gonna be chirpin' birdies soon.

    591.jpg

    for all the haters:

  • Been busy with a few different things. Still haven't finished the top hats, got a lot put back together on the engine. Spent a few days thinking about my engine wire harness. Finally started on it, got it started how I want to do it, pretty much just doing it 'on the fly' will change things later as needed/wanted. Pretty much, it's getting cold and I want my garage space back!
  • hoodbridge was over rolling my del sol fenders tonight...

some progress on the wagon over the past few weeks, december 31st is looking bleak.
