Alright so the fuel pump is in and we are all go for the tuning and bolting on the Jackson!
  • MoonMoon Band Wagon
It is a gorgeous car! I can't wait until it gets how you want it. You deserve it!
  • leWolfleWolf Senior Wagonist
So we have boost but now my fuel rail is leaking bad. I'm assuming old seals + boost = fuel leak.

BUT I am in love with the power it added and it is so smooth under power!

    YES!!!!

    I'm following right behind you!

Do you mind detailing your current and planned fuel delivery/tuning setup?
Id really like to supercharge when i find an RT4 for a realistic price
  • I picked up a set of 450's from a DSM and will be upgrading my fuel pump. Other than that everything else will be stock. Were not talking about a tremendous amount of power, so I don't think there is a need for a fuel rail or anything else.

Wolf, get up some vids. Youtube needs more D16 jrsc vids!!
  • leWolfleWolf Senior Wagonist
So my current fuel setup is as follows
    -Walbro 255
    -240cc Injectors, 375cc H22a injectors are coming!
-Crome p28 ECU, I will share this bin file as soon as it's done!
    -New fuel filter
    -Stock z6 Fuel rail
It has enough duty cycle until 6900 then it goes to full duty cycle so bigger injectors are a must!

So here is a video of it running it's very smooth!

  • Change the name of the title so it's easier to search for. :)

    Sounds really solid!

Interesting note about the injectors. Glad I got the 450's. What gauges are you running currently?

I am currently running an innovative mtx-l or something like that, also a glowshift boost gauge.

So at this point I just named the wagon Tachikoma, in hopes of good luck with it. Also I was having terrible braking issues that I could not figure out after my new master cylinder and booster install, turns out I hadn't adjust the pushrod correctly so it's holding the brakes just barely so they get outrageously hot. I was at 298' after one mile. So just don't forget to adjust your pushrods! lol Also got it fully tuned and it really smoothed out the power band a lot. Hopefully the SI trans I just bought works out and i'll be able to use this power correctly.

So Charlie Sheen and I were banging out 7 gram rocks and finishing them when I realized something. The greddy turbo kit I just picked up will fit perfectly with my JRSC. I was like "Wow, that'd be cool!" So I'm going to start getting parts together for my ultimate plan! Apparently 2-3 people have done this already and it panned out great! Also just bought a bunch of new goodies for my wagon, and the body work will resume ASAP!
  • ^^^^ This sounds interesting =) Twin charge!!

Beautiful wagon, i like where this build is going!
  • leWolfleWolf Senior Wagonist
So I have been super busy lately and havent been around as much but the wagon has changed severely! I even ported the blower in the shop and it made a HUGE difference. I even blocked the silencer ports and it sounds amazing and really livened up alot. The lip is an easy fit, minor shaping and 4 bolts, look pretty good though.

Yeah, I am currently running a JRSC kit on a z6 and just bought a greddy turbo kit. I am going to dig into it and see what else is needed to make it run well and continue to buy needed parts. goal is 225hp with a fairly smooth power band.

Change of plans with the build, all I can say is CTR!
  • leWolfleWolf Senior Wagonist
Ok so here is the deal, twincharging would be a big mess and it's already been done with dismal results at that. So I got a b16 and started working on that whole setup. Here is some of the goodies! Camera died before I could get more pictures, wish I had taken more since I know all of you LOVE pictures  I just need a transmission, shifter linkage, and and the rear mount. Other than that were ready to roll! :D
Block guard, CTR pistons, ARP head studs, single layer Cometic head gasket, all rebuilt less than 2,000 miles ago!
    600.jpg
    Bigger pistons for higher displacement!

  • Lose the fram filter. They are garbage!

We only had it on for a break in for maybe 600 miles, and yes, bosch or mobil 1 FTW.

So it's winter now and the wagon is living in the garage. Of course I started on my full Integra brake swap and it seems fairly straight forward. Lots of fabricating which just happens to be one of my favorite things to do. I will be installing everything from a 1990 integra, pedal assembly, brake booster, master cylinder, front knuckles, prop valve, rear disc setup, and stainless steel brake lines. Also I'm getting ready to resume body work and get this thing painted up correctly. Here it is in the garage.

Plasma torch lit my pants on fire, it was pretty epic. My friend walked into the garage as I realized why my leg was warm. It made perfect dense why my pant leg was warm, it was on fire and that made sense. Then I realized that was actually a bad thing and began jumping around cussing! Dont wear your G-unit pants while using a plasma cutter!
