by the way does anybody know what this is or who makes the blue box in the pics?
The blue box looks like it may be the fuel management control unit like the one that came included in the Greddy turbo kits. Dude you are crazy for working on your wagon jacked up on those wood blocks. My cousin did the same thing several years ago while working on a RX-7 and had the car fall on him.
ha ha i aint working on it like that i just took off the old rims i didnt have any jack stands so i put it on blocks now thats gangsta!yeah im gonna check on the box do some research you know i need a new management system.i have a friend he recently graduated from wyotech and is gonna help me w/ the turbo hes said hes gonna do a wide open tune or something like that?idk? i know nothing about turbos soo ill let him do the work.ha ha!
After you get your engine management squared away, do yourself a huge favor and take your car to get tuned on a dyno by an experienced tuner. I'd hate to see you kill your motor.
You could leave your stock injectors and ecu on then leave the charge piping disconnected and drive it down to LA to get tuned. There's quite a few experienced tuners down here that can handle you setup. Just a suggestion.
ok do you know of any in particular im originally from the San Fernando valley soo im familiar w/ that area ( 818! ) but i could go to l.a. no prob.also would you know around how much that would run me?

A few tuners that come to mind are: Do It Dyno, Bisimoto, and Erick's Racing. I had Erick's tune my wagon a couple of years ago and I believe he charged something like 150.00/hr to tune. You shouldn't be there more than 2 hours. A buddy of mine had Bisi tune his turbo hatch and spent about 300 bucks. Also depends how ready you are to get tuned. Often times guys show up there and have wiring issues or something else going on which prevents the car from being tuned properly. In this case the tuner must correct the issues before he can tune and therefore spends more of his time and your money to fix these problems. Moral of the story: make sure your car is running perfect before you install the turbo kit, and make sure you did your homework when selecting the products for your turbo kit and supporting mods(fuel pump, injectors, map sensor, spark plugs ,etc..) Don't quote me on the exact price for my tune because this was a couple of years ago but just to give you an idea of what to expect.
Jaja. When I called about this wagon the guy was like "they're taking it away right now!" Seems like there is a wagon shortage in CA. I might have to start looking at the AZ craigslist... Nice wagon btw!
ha ha thats crazy well the guy pretty much robbed me i paid 2200 for it he wouldnt budge on the price and i wasnt going home empty handed so i said f it!any ways heres some pics i took yesterday.i will drive my da till i get this wagon into shape so when i get time im going to do a tear down until then enjoy ha ha!!![/quote]

the aluminum ones that kinda stick out are 5zigen the used to be red but the sun faded them and turned them pink so i used easy-off oven cleaner to take off the annodizing.the small chrome ones are gorilla lugs.

you can get them for around 200 for all 4 in good shape, with decent tires.
went to pick a parts the other day no wagons but i did find a da so i took the carpet which was in pretty gd condition for my da which i might ad is f/s or f/t and a few other parts that i needed.also i will be getting wago ready for paint so lots of body work ill post pics 2day or tommorow.
On the rims yes but ill probably paint the wagon the stock color grey too much of a hassle to tear the whole thing down ill probably fix all the problems paint it and sell it idk its growing on me ha ha
Looks like you got some nice goodies with your wago.
I picked mine up in AZ for 1k. It needed a little work, but the body and 4wd was all in great shape. For a couple months, AZ had like 5-6 wagons on CL, looks like they are all dried up now tho...
There are soo hard to find Yes got mine for 2 gees needs lots of body work but the engine runs great has like 142000 I'm already. Getting parts shipped.
well ive taken all the moldings, roof rack and window trim of to get ready for body work.and also recieved new items form another hcw member.ive gotten new moldings well new to me also 4 chrome door handles, all 4 window trim and a gauge cluster ill clean those up and eventually put them on as soon as i get my paint job done.
