Hey Guys I finally picked up a wagon...its a stick 91 awd. I saw it on CL and it turned out to be a forum members. Needs some work but its a lot nicer than any of the others I have seen locally. Heres a quick pic I snapped this morning.

    yeah i cant wait to get her fixed...im pretty sure the cable just came off the shifter. I loved that EJ1...i know you will take good care of her. I am looking forward to some pics soon :D .

    I was bottoming out like crazy with 2 people in the car...do you suggest anything to help that? should i put stiffer struts?

    they are just cheap ebay springs. if you were to buy some better springs like GC or even skunk2. get like agx's for the front or koni's if you want but only get monroe for the rear cause the wagon spring perch is so low compared to the ef's. then you wouldnt have that problem. and you stll could have the same look you have now. if you get ef springs you wont be able to lower the rear enough compared to the front.

    yeah the struts are fine since you just want to dd it.

    just look around and see what other ppl are running. most are running GC sleeve overs.

    75yo guy ran a stop sign and i side swiped his front bumper


    Destroyed:
    Passenger front door
    Passenger front fender
    Corner light
    Mouldings
    Fender liner

    Damaged:
    Wheel
    Tire
    Front bumper

    Possibly damaged:
    Frame
    Suspension



    I had to have it towed from the scene because of the wheel so i dont know what else could be wrong yet...if they total it im going to buy it back i think

    That totally sucks. I would buy it back too wagons especially RT's are already hard to come by.

    sucks, but dont look too bad. looks like just the exterior. frame damage? i doubt it. but good luck.

    awesome wagon man, sucks that it got damaged, still looks like a promising shell.

    That damage looks cosmetic. I doubt it did any frame damage. New door and fender, cant tell on front bumper though. Make sure you check out those suspension arms on that front tire too. Sucks it happened, but looks like and easy fix, bolt on parts and paint.

    thanks guys im going to do whatever i can to keep her from being crushed...still waiting on the appraiser. I found a white fender and door but havent seen their condition. DC, i will def send you a PM about those parts if i need them.

    oh yeah and the front bumper is just scratched up a bit...gives me a good excuse to swap it out for an EF :)

    Damn, bummer man. Good luck getting it fixed. I was looking on http://www.car-part.com/ the other day looking for a rear hatch and found a couple around Boston. You may want to check them out for parts. While you're there, maybe you can check on the condition of some parts I may need. :wink:

    Damn that looks much worse than mine. I am definitely going to fix it...my plan is to paint it Y-56...i havent seen one yet

    Give me some addresses and lemme see what i can do for ya. The JY i found that had a wagon was Jack's in North Billerica...they wanted 120 for the door and 60 for the fender...i didnt see the condition tho but i assuming its good

    nope its a 94 GS...they restyled the front bumper for 94-95
