JDM/EDM/UKDM side indicator / marker Installation?

Anyone have a write-up/how-to/diagram/measurements on installing these
on our wagon fenders?

Im looking for exact measurements from fender molding and edge of fender...

Maybe you Euro/uk/homies can help me out and measure your fenders, it
would be much appreciated.... :D

i will do a write-up on installation of this after i get the exact measurements....
(after im done; we could make this an exterior quick link? )

I just aimed, guessed and cut! Haha. Worked for me. Well my homeboy had a JDM EF2 front end on his 4door so I just went off that. Looks the same as ragen's.

Here you go: I made my holes a little tight then ground them out little by little for safe measure. Correct wiring is to your bumper lights also.

Since you used my car it is 2.5 from the door to the light, and 5.5 from the top of the trim to the bottom of the light. :D

i installed these bishes the other day... i didnt have access
to the internet when i did it, so i just guessed where i wanted
the lights to go... It took me about 5 hours; thats including
a trip to junkyard for a light that was broken... and i installed
a new passenger side headlight while i had the front bumper off.

    here is my write up...

make sure you treat/cover the exposed metal with some touch-up paint. my friend didnt and two years later its rusting... in the south with no salt.

I know it doesn't really matter and its just preference but are the sidemarkers supposed to be on with the running lights ro only on with the indicators?
  • wagodizzlewagodizzle Council Member and EDM expert
    only on with the indicators.

mine are on with the running lights; and blink alternatly with the bumper light...
so when bumperlight blinks; indicator is not blinking.
and when indicator light blinks; bumper light is not blinking.

i actually like that they are on with the running lights... :D

So they are suppose to only be on when the corner light is blinking, while making a turn or changing lanes?

If you want to just wire it the right way, just wire them to your front bumper lights. They are suppose to only be indicators, meaning only blink, not stay on.
